**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the educational location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facilities and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Observe and report activities and incidents, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
+ Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and general inquiries while promoting a welcoming environment.
+ Remain alert to potential security-related hazards and report any concerns according to site protocols.
+ Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management, adapting to the unique needs of an educational environment.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
