Compensation: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour (30-40 hours per week)

Job Overview
Our client, a rapidly-growing, regional renewable energy provider that specializes in residential and small commercial solar projects, is looking to bring on an Electrician to focus on projects across the Rochester area. This hire will be a key member of their field operations division and will serve as not only a technical expert but a true team player, and liaison to the customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out electrical construction tasks in a team environment, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel
• Install electrical and solar PV systems in accordance with codes and standards using drawings, schematics and instructions
• Be able to appropriately diagnose malfunctions in systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdown and take appropriate steps to correct the problem
• Regularly report project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials
• Lead by example—set, monitor, and enforce the standards of safety, and exemplary quality of work set forth by the Company
• Analyze and quickly resolve any work problems that may arise and ensures that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a timely manner
• Work flexible hours based on changing conditions

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience with solar installations; familiarity with SolarEdge and/or Generac products is a plus.
• Experience installing and repairing electrical equipment and fixtures
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Compensation & Benefits

• An hourly wage of $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
