Main Banker (Overnight)

The Opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a full-time Main Banker to join our team at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York. As a Main Banker, you will work under the direction of the Cage Manager to balance the vault and accurately count and balance all cashier moneybags returned to the vault.

Overnight must be able to work weekends and holidays

Overnight hours 11pm to 7:30am

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all state, company, and departmental regulations and procedures are being followed at all times.
• Verifies and accept funds from drop/count staff.
• Accurately counts vault funds and verifies vault on a daily basis.
• Prepares cashier moneybags for upcoming shifts.
• Balances all proceeds on table at end of shift.
• Delivers cash draws of money to cage supervisors as needed.
• Maintains an accurate cash balance and able to multitask.
• Prepares daily bank deposits.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain state gaming license.
• Intermediate computer skills including routine data input and record keeping.
• Must possess basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
• Knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations.
• Ability to work across departmental lines.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and push trolley cart in excess of 70 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, kneel, bend and crouch.

Hamburg Gaming Buffalo Raceway at the Fairgrounds is a 55,000 square feet gaming facility featuring nearly 900 video gaming machines in every denomination, along with New York Lottery games, video poker, progressives, and penny machines.

Our New York gaming facility boasts a range of dining options which include the Blue Ribbon Grill, the Cyclone Bar featuring a big screen TV, and Tim Hortons Café and Bake Shop and the Winner's Circle Cafe which overlooks the Buffalo Raceway.
