In-Office Property Manager
Job Title: Property Manager with Bookkeeping Experience
Location: Ozone Park, NY (On-Site)
Salary: $45,000 - $75,000 per year, DOE (Depending on Experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager with bookkeeping expertise to oversee daily operations of a portfolio of properties in Ozone Park, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and financial record-keeping, with proficiency in Yardi software. This is an in-office role requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills to ensure the efficient management of properties and tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day property operations, including tenant communications, lease administration, and maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate financial records for the properties, including rent collections, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
- Utilize Yardi software to manage property financials, tenant information, and reporting.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and reports for property owners.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs, working closely with vendors and contractors.
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and lease renewals in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with ownership to implement strategic plans to maximize property value and performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, with a strong focus on bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Yardi software is required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and property management best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with local regulations and building codes.
- Experience managing residential or mixed-use properties.
Compensation and Benefits:
