P/T Family Nurse Practitioner Wound Care
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking experienced, compassionate Nurse Practitioners to join our dynamic wound care team. This role is offered on a flexible part‑time and per diem basis, providing a rewarding opportunity to deliver specialized wound management care to our growing patient population.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for wound care patients.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound evaluation, debridement, dressing changes, and patient education.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient interactions accurately, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and adhere to established clinical protocols.
DO YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING?
- Valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in NY
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience; prior experience in wound care highly preferred.
- Certification as a Wound Care specialist (CWS/WCC) preferred but not required. (Support available for certification for suitable candidates)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
