We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Nashville. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is looking to build a strong foundation with opportunities for advancement.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and post journal entries
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Support financial statement preparation
Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies
Assist with audit support and documentation
Maintain general ledger accuracy
Support AP/AR functions as needed
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
1–3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate)
Strong understanding of GAAP
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred)
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc. a plus)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CPA-eligible
Experience with multi-entity or multi-location organizations
