If you thrive in fast-paced environments, understand client reporting requirements, and enjoy owning compliance from start to finish, this is an opportunity to play a critical role in projects that shape communities.
About the Role
This position oversees MWDBE compliance across major public works and infrastructure contracts. You will work cross-functionally with Project Managers, Procurement, Workforce Development, and executive leadership to ensure vendor participation goals are met, documented, and reported accurately.

• Review contracts and procurement documents to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated
• Develop and monitor participation goals and utilization metrics
• Conduct virtual and in-person vetting of subcontractors and vendors to confirm legitimacy and capability
• Audit contracts, subcontracts, invoices, and purchase documentation for compliance adherence
• Prepare detailed reports and supporting documentation for oversight agencies
• Participate in pre-bid, pre-award, and pre-construction meetings
• Maintain and manage compliance databases and vendor registries
• Partner with estimating teams to identify qualified MWDBE firms for bids and proposals
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Supplier Diversity, Workforce Development, or government contract compliance
• Strong background in government reporting and regulatory documentation
• Experience working with public sector agencies, infrastructure projects, or regulated environments
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with project teams and external stakeholders
• Self-directed professional who can operate independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
• Direct involvement in major public infrastructure projects
• High-visibility role with meaningful impact on contract performance
• Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and professional development opportunities
• Collaborative, growth-oriented company culture
This is an ideal role for a compliance professional who wants to move beyond administrative reporting and take ownership of complex, high-value contracts in a dynamic construction environment.
If you are ready to contribute to projects that shape communities and infrastructure across New York, we would love to speak with you.
