Join a fun, collaborative emergency/specialty practice that focuses on providing high standards of care! We are seeking Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join an emergency/specialty animal practice in Syracuse, New York. The top-of-the-line facility currently offers 24 hour emergency in addition to Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Radiology, Nutrition, Anesthesiology, and Critical Care.

The Anesthesiologist will work alongside other specialties to support the mission for a team-based approach to specialty veterinary care, providing multimodal pain control and anesthetic protocols tailored for each patient. The facility houses state-of-the-art equipment (multi-parameter monitors including invasive pressure monitoring, nerve stimulator, dedicated ultrasound machine) in addition to anesthesia machines (Draeger Apollo, GE Aestiva, Moduflex, Optimax with Bain adapter).

This individual will be responsible for creating anesthetic and analgesic protocols for surgical patients +/- endoscopic patients, overseeing technicians monitoring and managing anesthetized patients, consulting with other clinicians regarding sedation protocols, and shared after-hours call-in for emergency surgeries.

We are considering Boarded anesthesiologists and those who have completed an ACVAA-registered Anesthesiology residency. Third year residents are encouraged to apply.

Compensation/Benefits: Excellent pay and benefits in addition to other “perks”. A robust benefits package including CE allowance, PTO, disability/life/PLIT insurance, paid FMLA leave, and Stock. (Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000. Compensation may be negotiable.)
