Full-Stack Engineer

Our client, a growing venture-backed Healthcare startup, is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will own the full lifecycle of product development, from ideation through to delivery, playing a key role in shaping both the user experience and technical roadmap while utilizing modern AI-powered tools to accelerate innovation and development.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of product features throughout the entire development lifecycle, from concept through to deployment.

• Partner with stakeholders to shape product ideas, define requirements and create detailed specifications.

• Build and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications with a strong focus on performance and reliability.

• Deliver intuitive, visually polished user experiences with meticulous attention to design and usability.

• Develop robust full-stack solutions using modern frameworks, tools and technologies.

• Utilize AI-driven development tools to accelerate delivery, enhance productivity and improve software quality.

• Support the advancement of internal AI capabilities, systems and engineering workflows.

• Contribute to technical standards, engineering processes and best practices within a fast-paced startup environment.

Skillset

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in full-stack software engineering.

• Previous experience working within product-driven or engineering-focused organizations.

• Strong hands-on expertise in React, TypeScript and Node.js.

• Demonstrated ability to take products and features from initial concept through to successful production release.

• A strong product mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.

• Experience working with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and modern frontend frameworks and technologies is an advantage.

• An interest in healthcare technology, preventative health, wellness, or personal health optimization

• Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth startup or scale-up environments is a plus.
