Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Full-Scope Practice High Autonomy | 3:1 Nursing Support | Lower Hudson Valley, NY

Employment Type: Long-Term Locum Cover (Unrivaled backup & support) & / or Permanent

Schedule: 2x8hr Office Sessions + 1 Weekly 24hr Call

We are seeking a passionate, high-caliber Certified Nurse Midwife to join an expanding, community-driven Womens Health team in the beautiful Lower Hudson Valley region of New York.

• True Midwifery Autonomy: Practice at the top of your license. Our midwives are highly autonomous leaders who set the standard for excellent, low-risk OB care.
• Unmatched Clinical Support: Say goodbye to administrative burnout. Enjoy 3 dedicated clinical nurses per provider on heavy OB days, plus 2 full-time phone triage nurses handling patient calls so you can focus entirely on patient care.
• Low-Acuity, Smooth Flow: Tap into a highly compliant, relatively young patient population with predominantly uncomplicated, low-risk pregnancies.
• Robust 24/7 Physician Backup: Work with complete peace of mind. A dedicated team of 7 OB/GYN physicians and an in-house hospitalist are physically present in the hospital 24/7.
• Diverse Full-Scope Practice: Keep your skills sharp with a mix of prenatal/postpartum care, autonomous labor management, GYN visits, and dedicated hospital time to first-assist on C-sections .

• 3 Days total: 2 standard OB 8-hour clinic days + 1 day 24-hour shift (GYN clinic or hospital OR first-assisting).
• Call Shift: 24-hour in-house hospital coverage weekly (52 shifts/year total).
• The Facility: Supported by a state-of-the-art community hospital featuring a Level II NICU managing a steady, predictable volume of ~1,300 annual deliveries.

• Active New York State Nurse Midwife license & registration.
• Proven clinical experience managing low-risk pregnancies and a passion for collaborative, community-driven care.
