Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Locum Tenens Nursing Job in Rochester, NY

ER RN Job Details – Rochester, NY
- Location: Rochester, NY 14642 – Explore the vibrant culture, beautiful parks, and thriving arts scene of Rochester in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York.
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250–$2,310 per week
- Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel nursing contract)
- Start Date: November 10, 2025
- End Date: February 7, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36 or 48 hours/week (your choice)
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights); includes floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge nurse responsibilities as needed
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
- Previous travel ER RN experience required (not accepting first-time travelers)
- Telemetry nursing experience required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department
- Manage care for trauma patients and boarder patients in a Level I trauma setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other hospital units and participate in weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge nurse duties as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
