The Role
- Support the estimating process from the ground up – You’ll train alongside senior estimators and get hands-on with real project work from day one.
- Own fixture takeoffs – Use OnScreen Takeoff to review drawings and perform precise counts of lighting fixtures and controls.
- Build and submit clean, accurate bids – Help prepare quotes that reflect both the technical specs and the project’s unique needs.
- Review vendor quotes – Compare pricing, ensure accuracy, and flag anything that seems off.
- Manage data and documentation – Keep project details organized in our systems (Acumatica) and maintain clean, up-to-date files.
- Coordinate timelines – Review bid due dates and help ensure everything is submitted on time—or early.
- Collaborate across teams – Work closely with Sales, Project Management, and Operations to ensure seamless handoffs.
- Pitch in where needed – From weekly reporting to special projects, you’ll stay flexible and contribute wherever you can add value.
