The Role

The Director of Operations will serve as the operational backbone of the firm—responsible for building systems, driving accountability, and ensuring every department runs with precision and efficiency.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a builder role.

You will work directly with leadership to improve client experience and foster a high-performance culture across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Design, implement, and optimize firm-wide systems and workflows
• Drive accountability through KPIs, scorecards, and reporting structures
• Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions

Team Management

• Oversee department heads (legal, intake, case management, support staff)
• Build and enforce performance standards across the organization
• Hel develop and retain high-performing talent

Client Experience Excellence

• Ensure a consistent, high-touch client experience at every stage
• Monitor responsiveness, communication, and satisfaction metrics
• Partner with leadership to continuously elevate the firm’s service model

Financial & Performance Oversight

• Track key operational and financial metrics (case cycle time, cost per case, revenue per case, etc.)
• Improve profitability through efficiency and process improvement
• Collaborate on budgeting and resource allocation

Strategic Execution

• Translate firm vision into executable operational plans
• Lead major initiatives (technology implementation, expansion, scaling teams)
• Drive cross-functional alignment and execution

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations leadership experience (law firm or professional services preferred)
• Proven track record of scaling organizations ($50M+ revenue environments strongly preferred)
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking mindset
• Experience managing managers and building leadership teams
• Data-driven decision maker with high accountability standards
• Exceptional organizational skills and willingness to execute with urgency
