Associate Professor or Full Professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai

The Department of Stem Cell Biology & Regenerative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai invites applications for tenure-track positions at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level. We seek established investigators with internationally recognized research programs and a strong record of extramural funding in stem cell biology, stem cell bioengineering, and/or regenerative medicine.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in areas that align with strategic priorities, including:

• Reproductive biology, menopause biology, and ovarian aging
• Neuroinflammation, including multiple sclerosis, and regenerative approaches to neurological disease
• Intestinal stem cells and regeneration
• Human model systems, including organoids, microphysiological systems, and multi-organ platforms
• Human stem cell-derived therapeutics and drug screening platforms

The Department of Stem Cell Biology & Regenerative Medicine provides a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment and serves as a focal point for foundational and translational stem cell research across the Mount Sinai campus. Investigators benefit from strong institutional support, access to outstanding core facilities, and close integration with clinical and translational programs.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D., M.D., V.M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree and are expected to maintain an active, externally funded research program and participate in graduate education and mentorship. Competitive start-up packages and laboratory space are available.
