Assistant General Manager – Cricket’s Candy Creations

Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

We’re looking for a highly organized and energetic Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help oversee daily operations at our fun and festive Candy Crafting and Birthday Party event space!

The AGM will support the General Manager in leading the team, ensuring smooth event execution, maintaining inventory, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment and has strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Execution & Customer Service – Ensure birthday parties and events run smoothly, assisting staff and resolving any guest concerns to create magical, memorable experiences.
  • Team Supervision & Training – Help recruit, train, and manage party hosts and event staff, fostering a fun and high-energy work environment. Step in as the lead when the General Manager is unavailable.
  • Scheduling & Staffing Support – Assist with scheduling employees and coordinating staff coverage for events and daily operations.
  • Inventory & Supplies Management – Monitor stock levels of candy, decorations, party supplies, and food & beverage items. Assist with ordering and vendor coordination.
  • Venue Operations & Cleanliness – Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and fully prepped for each event. Address maintenance needs and uphold safety and sanitation standards.
  • Financial & Administrative Assistance – Support the General Manager in tracking sales, processing payments, and managing budgets. Handle daily operational reports as needed.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement – Assist in promotional efforts, social media content, and partnerships to drive bookings and brand awareness.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in event management, hospitality, or retail leadership (family entertainment or themed venues preferred).
  • Strong people management and leadership skills, with experience training and motivating teams.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple events and priorities.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills to interact with guests and resolve issues.
  • Experience with inventory management, ordering, and vendor coordination.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and afternoons.
  • Energetic, positive attitude with a passion for creating fun, memorable experiences.
