Program Director for Workforce Development & Continuing Education

Full-Time, In-Person

Reports to Program Director

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 6 pm

Annual Salary: $55,000 - $60,000, commensurate with education and experience.

The Mosholu Montefiore Community Center (MMCC) is a vital community resource that changes the course of lives of Bronx and Manhattan residents to a degree that is not otherwise possible. Each year, we serve more than 40,000 preschoolers, school age children, teens, adults and senior citizens through our support, enrichment, education, and recreation programs, expanding their opportunities to live full, productive lives.

Responsibilities:

· Create a welcoming environment within Workforce Development programs

· Develop and meet enrollment and retention goals

· Coordinate recruitment, intake, and program activities

· Oversee day-to-day operations, tracking data and participant progress

· Develop and implement program marketing and outreach strategies

· Conduct program evaluations to maintain quality and align outcomes with agency and funder goals

· Ensure compliance with all regulations, funder guidelines, and best practices

· Prepare for internal and external audits

· Recruit, hire, and supervise qualified staff and volunteers

· Conduct staff training and approve payroll

· Inform staff about programs and services to support client needs

· Ensure compliance with non-discrimination and accessibility standards

· Train stakeholders on policies and procedures

· Maintain and submit required reports and documentation

· Post and distribute required notices and resources

· Support implementation of language access plans

· Conduct outreach on individual rights and complaint procedures

· Ensure timely communication with stakeholders

· Perform other related program management duties

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR

● Associate degree and 5 years’ relevant experience

● Availability for some evenings and weekends

● Strong knowledge of community resources

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● Independent, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven

● Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills

● Team-oriented and adaptable

● Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
