EY is currently seeking experienced Busy Season Tax Contractor. EY's Busy Season Tax Contractors work within the Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services (TARAS) Tax Practice providing support during our busiest periods. The anticipated time frame is December 2025 through December 2026.

Overview

• Tax Provision preparation, calculation, review – assist companies with all aspects of their preparation of the tax provision
• Accounting for federal income taxation
• Tax Accounting for Financial Statements
• Planning for tax rate impact and cash flow
• Strong ASC 740 and/or IAS 12 under IFRS experience Experience in corporate tax planning and compliance

Qualifications

1.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field)

2.Progress toward, or completion of, a valid CPA certification preferred

3.Confidence in your ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects

4.Experience in, and excellent general knowledge of, international and/or domestic tax; we are seeking a variety of experience levels for several roles, with at least a minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization

5.Experience in foreign tax credit calculations, including foreign source income and mechanics of expense allocations a plus

The expected pay rate range for this contract assignment is $60 to $90 per hour for senior-level equivalent experience, or $90 to $120 for manager-level equivalent experience. Exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.

EY's Busy Season Tax Contractors are paid an hourly rate, and are eligible to receive over-time pay. Most teams average 40 -50 hours/week during busy season- specific expectations around hours are discussed during the interview process for each role. This role is able to be worked remotely from within the United States, but is required to be on-site at our New York or New Jersey offices periodically throughout the contract.
