Event Representative / Brand Ambassador

Position Overview:

We are seeking an outgoing, reliable Event Representative / Brand Ambassador to represent KAFFA LLC at events, expos, and community gatherings primarily in New York City . This role focuses on actively engaging attendees, introducing them to KAFFA’s mission, and highlighting our programs and impact , helping spark interest, build awareness and connect with potential participants and families.

This is a flexible, per-event role ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, explaining programs, and helping grow community awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent KAFFA LLC at events and expos throughout New York City as a professional and enthusiastic brand ambassador
• Proactively engage attendees to introduce KAFFA’s mission, values, and available programming
• Clearly and confidently explain programs, benefits, and opportunities to students, parents, and community members
• Initiate conversations and draw people into the booth rather than waiting for foot traffic
• Collect contact information and generate interest from potential participants and partners
• Answer questions and provide a positive, informative experience for all visitors
• Assist with setup, organization, and breakdown of booth materials
• Provide brief feedback after events on attendee interest, common questions, and overall engagement

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching people
• Reliable and punctual
• Interest in sports, youth development, or community engagement is a plus
• Prior event, retail, or customer-facing experience preferred

Compensation:

• $18/hour (typically $100 per event depending on event length)
