Salary (Base + expected bonus): $90,000 – $110,000 + year-end performance bonus

About the Role:
We’re hiring a full-time MEP Mechanical Engineer to support execution across multiple ground-up construction projects. This is not a design role — design is outsourced. You’ll focus on coordinating with consultants and field teams to ensure systems are code-compliant, buildable, and efficiently installed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review HVAC, plumbing and other MEP drawings from third-party engineers
- Ensure compliance with NYC mechanical/plumbing code and DOB requirements
- Evaluate product specifications and installation feasibility
- Coordinate with supers, PMs, and subs to resolve issues in the field
- Support value engineering, scope review, submittals, and final inspections
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of mechanical MEP design and/or contructioon experience in NYC residental building
- Strong knowledge of NYC mechanical/plumbing codes and DOB process
- Familiar with construction site coordination and system installation
- PE license is a plus but not required
- Able to work closely with in-house team and external consultants
