Remote Account Director
Careerscape is partnering with a fast-growing organization headquartered in New York City to place a talented Remote Account Director. This is a standout opportunity for a commercially savvy relationship builder who knows how to grow revenue, protect retention, and make clients feel like their only client. Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of a portfolio of key accounts as the go-to strategic partner for each client
- Identify and close upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities that expand revenue across your book of business
- Cultivate trusted, long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders and executive buyers
- Build customized account plans that map client objectives directly to the solutions you provide
- Work hand-in-hand with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure clients see measurable results
- Stay ahead of account health indicators, spotting risk early and acting before it becomes a problem
- Deliver polished presentations, strategic proposals, and quarterly business reviews with authority
- Keep your pipeline, forecasts, and account data clean and current inside CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
Requirements
- 5+ years in account management, client services, or B2B sales with a strong commercial track record
- History of growing and retaining a portfolio of meaningful accounts year over year
- Natural ability to build rapport and credibility with senior-level client contacts
- Fluency in CRM platforms — Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent
- Sharp communicator with polished negotiation and presentation skills
- Highly organized with the bandwidth to manage multiple client relationships at once
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Background in SaaS, media, or agency settings is a welcome advantage
