Travel Registered Nurse Cardiac Job
Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac to provide specialized care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. This role is ideal for RNs with a strong background in cardiac nursing, telemetry, and critical care , who are passionate about improving patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients with heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedures
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings , responding to abnormalities promptly
- Administer cardiac medications, IV drips, and other treatments as prescribed
- Assist in cardiac catheterizations, stress tests, and other diagnostic procedures
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records, assessments, and care plans
- Follow hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac, telemetry, or critical care nursing
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- Certification in Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN) or Cardiac-Vascular Nursing (CVRN) preferred
- Strong EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations and respond quickly to cardiac events
