The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of facility equipment and infrastructure. Working primarily within a small team, this role involves performing routine and occasional complex repairs, preventive maintenance, and general facility upkeep. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Operations Supervisor and contributes to maintaining an organized and efficient work environment during standard daytime hours, with occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment repair and troubleshooting
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Carry out facility maintenance tasks to ensure safety and functionality
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in maintenance roles
• Knowledge of mechanical repair and electrical systems
• Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures
• Basic plumbing skills
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Effective time management abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills
