Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is a key operational leader responsible for ensuring that our warehouse, equipment, and material handling systems operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with project requirements. This individual will work closely with field staff, project managers, and executive leadership to manage daily logistics, enforce accountability, and support field operations through timely and accurate resource coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory & Logistics Management
    • Oversee inventory and implement controls to track, manage, and replenish stock efficiently.
    • Coordinate daily order fulfillment for job site deliveries.
    • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of warehouse inventory in coordination with the Purchasing Agent.
    • Manage truck scheduling for material handlers and optimize delivery coordination with foremen, project managers, and the Executive VP.
  • Tool & Equipment Oversight
    • Maintain accountability systems for tools and equipment, including assignment tracking, maintenance schedules, and condition inspections.
    • Manage the Asset Tiger platform for inventoried tool and equipment tracking by job and employee.
    • Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned, serviced, stored, and replaced as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Procurement & Material Planning
    • Use project schedules and market trend data to forecast material needs and plan strategic purchasing.
    • Generate purchase orders and manage procurement workflows through Foundation Software and Excel.
    • Support the submittal process for material approvals as needed in collaboration with the PM team.
  • Technology & Reporting
    • Utilize Foundation Software for purchase order processing and inventory management.
    • Prepare and communicate warehouse inventory valuation reports to internal stakeholders.
    • Use Excel and other platforms to maintain detailed records and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Warehouse Operations
    • Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, drivers, and material handlers, including scheduling, performance management, and team development.
    • Track key warehouse metrics such as order accuracy and timeliness, inventory discrepancies, and delivery turnaround time.
    • Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
    • Receive incoming deliveries and inspect shipments for accuracy and quality.
    • Develop and enforce daily picking and staging procedures to streamline job readiness.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse or inventory management experience in construction or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and equipment, including usage and maintenance best practices.
  • Technologically proficient in inventory software (e.g., Foundation, Asset Tiger) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to lead, organize, and hold team members accountable.
  • Strong communication skills and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Forklift certification and OSHA training preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Compensation:
  • Annual salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience)
