About the Role

Paramint is supporting DYCD on a Business Intelligence & Reporting (BIR) engagement focused on dashboards, reporting, and data quality initiatives across youth programs.

This project is restarting after a funding pause. We need a high-ownership Project Manager who can re-establish cadence, manage stakeholders, drive delivery, and keep documentation clean and audit-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery cadence: daily standups , working sessions, stakeholder check-ins, and status reporting
• Build and maintain the project operating system:
• backlog / sprint plan
• RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
• meeting notes + decisions + action items
• timeline and milestones
• Coordinate across IT + program stakeholders + Paramint engineering
• Track scope and manage change requests cleanly (especially important for public-sector work)
• Proactively identify blockers (access, data availability, approvals) and escalate early
• Support executive-level updates and QBR-style reporting
• Ensure attendance discipline and coverage plans for all key meetings

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years PM experience on software / data / analytics projects
• Strong experience running structured client meetings and driving clear next steps
• Strong written communication: can produce crisp status emails, meeting notes, and decision logs
• Comfort working with BI/analytics deliverables (dashboards, reporting, SQL/ETL concepts)
• High reliability (calendar hygiene, proactive conflict management)
• Experience working in government, public sector, or regulated enterprise is strongly preferred

Nice to Have

• NYC agency experience (DYCD, DOE, HRA, etc.)
• Power BI / Tableau / Looker (at a PM level)
• Azure DevOps
• Data pipelines / warehousing concepts
• Experience navigating procurement / change control environments

Engagement Details

• Hours: 15–25 hrs/wee k (can flex to 30 during ramp-up)
• Start: Immediate (1–2 weeks)
• Duration: Ongoing (FY25–FY26)
• Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Success Criteria (First 30 Days)

• Cadence re-established with DYCD (standing meetings, clear backlog, access checklist)
• RAID log + weekly status template live
• Stakeholders aligned on priorities and next milestones
• No missed meetings, no surprises, clean documentation
