Job Title: RN House Supervisor

Location: New York, NY (10035)

Assignment Type: Contract

Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours/week | 5 days/week

Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM | Alternating weekends No on-call requirement

Pay Rate: U pto $86/hr for travel / Upto $70/hr for local [Depends on the experience]

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide leadership coverage during a medical leave of absence. This role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards in a long-term acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff across the facility
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
• Act as the primary point of contact for clinical and operational issues during shift
• Enforce compliance with Joint Commission standards and facility policies
• Support staff with clinical decision-making and problem resolution
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor workflow, staffing, and patient care activities

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of acute care supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of Joint Commission standards
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Education

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program

Certifications & Licensure

• Active New York State RN License
• License verification through NYSED
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
