Day Shift: Full Time, Part Time & Per Diem with Saturday rotation
$43.00 - $48.40/ hour

What will I do as a Physical Therapist for The Wesley Community?
Our Physical Therapists work closely with our in-patient long term care residents and short term rehab patients to restore activities of daily living. A few of the most common duties and responsibilities required of Physical Therapists with us include:
- Evaluate resident's conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
- Relieve resident's pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching
- Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
- Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
- Maintain resident confidence & protects facility by keeping confidential information
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
- Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members & contributes to team effort
Physical Therapist Requirements :
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current New York State Physical Therapist (PT) License
- Experience in Subacute and/or Long Term care a plus, but not required
