Shift: Friday-Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM (3 twelve-hour shifts, no on-call responsibilities)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. The CT Technologist will perform technical procedures and assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients, providing them with safe and positive experiences while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on various patient populations, including outpatients, inpatients (both stable and ICU), and emergency room patients.
• Support the clinical evaluation and care of patients in collaboration with Medical Directors, Clinical Specialists, Managers, and Radiologists.
• Utilize advanced imaging technology to create precise diagnostic images.
• Engage in continued learning and participate in teaching activities related to technology changes.
• Conduct CT scan-guided procedures and support research-related imaging as required.
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure & Certification:

- New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit to practice in New York.
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.

• Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome; MIT Level will be assigned based on individual skills and experience.
