Office Assistant- Cayuga Medical Center Environmental Services- Full Time- Days

Work collaboratively with all members of the team to provide exceptional service to all patients, visitors, guests, and employees, while meeting all regulatory requirements put forth by local, state, and federal agencies. As well as providing clerical support to the department as needed, including creating daily schedules. Effectively provides Person Centered care and services

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls from vendors, visitors, staff, and the public.
• Vendor management, including periodic review to ensure highest quality and value
• Maintaining manifests from the DOT in reference to waste handling
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable including End of Month, End of Year documentation and recordkeeping
• Creating weekly schedules for housekeepers
• Support NEE and Department Orientation
• Providing Epic support through the control center
• Calling and Scheduling interviews

Required Skills and Experience:

• HS Diploma or equivalent experience
• Understand and act upon written and oral instructions
• 2+ years of experience in a coordinator, office administration or management position

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Associates or Bachelors in Business Administration preferred

Location and Travel Requirements:

• Onsite at our Main Campus- 101 Dates Drive, Ithaca NY 14850
• Shift:
• Travel: Periodic daily travel between facilities can be expected in this role

Pay Range Disclosure:

• $18.50 to $24.00 per hour
