Consulting Manager

Overview:

We have a tremendous opportunity for a business and advisory consultant to manage client assignments, working directly with Partners to provide engagement solutions in a variety of settings, including: operational efficiency studies; internal control evaluations, policy and procedure reviews; financial reporting and analysis; cost reduction studies, and special projects. This role is ideal for professionals with an Audit or Assurance background who want to transition into broader consulting work.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Bonadio Partners to assist clients with a variety of financial and operational studies and projects
• Communicate directly with clients to perform information gathering interviews, request data and documentation and present final reports, analyses and recommendations
• Conduct consulting fieldwork - interviews, walkthroughs, process-mapping exercises, data analysis, compliance testing, etc.
• Perform testing and analytical procedures with large datasets
• Write comprehensive reports detailing project procedures, observations, findings and recommendations, based on work completed, industry research, experience and knowledge
• Manage multiple ongoing consulting engagements simultaneously
• Supervise consulting staff working on engagements

Qualifications

Required:

• A minimum of a bachelors degree in either accounting, business advisory, business analytics, project management or another related field of study
• A minimum of ten years of audit accountant experience

• Related experience in either public accounting, business consulting, audit, business analytics, or related field as experience will be considered in lieu of specific degree concentrations
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Ability to work with a team of multi-disciplined professionals
• Ability to travel if needed, travel is estimated to be about 15%

Preferred:

• CPA license
• CFE license

The salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $100,000 and is commensurate with experience.

Hours Of Operation:

• Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
• Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday
• We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
