Millennium Physical Therapy is a Physical Therapist owned private practice seeking a licensed Physical Therapist or licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. With practices in Astoria and Brooklyn there is excellent room for advancement. New grads welcome. Competitive salary with benefits and paid Continuing Education. Duties and responsibilities Physical Therapist:
- Perform intakes and assessments
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- Perform regular wellness checks
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
Qualifications :
- Must be a licensed NYS Physical Therapist
- Physiological Knowledge, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Motivating Others, Legal Compliance, Quality Focus, Bedside Manner, Clinical Skills, Pain Management, Persistence, Energy Level
- Must have an understanding on how to complete documentation
- Should create a safe, effective environment with the ability to motivate others
- Must understand NYS Physical Therapist Practice Act and ensure legal compliance
- Ensure quality focus and have acceptable bedside manner
- Must possess clinical skills
