Aerial Lineman

DB FIBER LLC is looking for a new addition to its team.

This individual must have exceptional time management and attention to detail skills to meet all deadlines on time. Must be able to work in all weather conditions, this is a Full-time year-round position. Must have a valid driver license and High School Diploma or equivalent. Prefer 2 to 3 years of experience in the field.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to perform Pole Transfers and Aerial Construction
• Must be able to Climb Poles
• Must be able to operate a bucket truck to perform work as assigned.
• Must be able to perform make ready work and maintenance
• Must be able to read and understand schematics and construction prints
• Must be able to troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field.
• Must be able to follow all safety rules in relation to pole climbing, transfers and operations of a buck truck.
• Must have own climbing gear and essential hand tools
• Must have knowledge of all tools and hardware
• Must have previous experience preforming pole transfers and make ready work (Raising and Lower coms and transfers exc)
• Must be able to work alone and or with a ground hand or crew
• Must have good listening skills and must be reliable
• Have experience driving a bucket truck and aware of road signs for bridges and low objects to ensure safety on the road .

I am looking for someone who can eventually become top lead for my company and can run crews and check on crews to make sure production is being done on time as well as other duties given. There will be many options and benefits to come with this position over time for someone who’s looking for a long lasting career! We are a new company and we are looking to add one experienced Ariel lineman to our crew at this time.

Starting Pay: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour based on experience

Normal shifts are 8 to 10 hours and starting times may vary based on weather conditions.
