Ongoing Temp Receptionist at Non-Profit in the Bronx
Our client, a Bronx-based non-profit, is looking to hire an ongoing Temp Front Desk Associate to be the first point of contact for the community. This candidate will manage the front desk's general operations and support a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be friendly, articulate, detail-oriented, and capable of handling various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This role is 5x days a week in-office on the morning shift from 5am-1:30pm. RESPONSIBILITIES● Greet and assist visitors, members, and guests courteously and professionally
● Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about membership, programs, events, and services
● Attentively and promptly responding to member needs, and assisting visitors and staff as necessary
● Assist in processing membership and program/class participant registrations, renewals, and payments using the organization's software system
● Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure the availability of necessary materials and supplies
● Monitor the sign-in/sign-out procedures for visitors and participants REQUIREMENTS
● Minimum of six (6) months of customer service or receptionist experience
● Commitment to excellent customer service and satisfaction, innovation, and creativity
● Must possess excellent computer skills, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and membership management/CRM software
● Must be able to work occasional special events throughout the year, sometimes on Sundays, based on the demands of the organization.
● Second language highly preferred
SALARY
$17-18/hr HOURS
5am-1:30pm Monday-Friday + flexibility as needed #IND1
