Job Title: Part-Time MRI Technologist

Location: New York, NY 10029

Schedule: 2 days per week, 7.5-hour shifts (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM)

Hours Per Week: 15

Pay: $65 – $70 per hour

Job Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Part-Time MRI Technologist for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans and position patients and coils to achieve optimal image quality.

• Educate patients on MRI procedures, safety protocols, and expectations.

• Review and verify MRI safety questionnaires for all patients.

• Assess image quality and ensure timely submission to PACS.

• Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment, including all equipment and supplies.

• Accurately document patient information in the Radiology Information System (IDX).

• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

• Assist physicians during imaging procedures as needed.

• Comply with infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance standards.

• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, MRI physics, and imaging techniques.

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience with GE scanners in a hospital setting.

• Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-accredited Radiologic Technology program .

• Valid New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology.

• ARRT (MRI) Certification required.

• BLS Certification required.
