Senior Manager, Retail Strategy & Operations, DoorDash, Inc., New York, NY. Own cross-functional strategic and operational initiatives to best serve our largest revenue driving partnerships across all geographies and business lines at DoorDash. Build strategic plans, execute go-to-market playbooks, build processes, and partner with cross functional teams to solve our toughest problems. Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decisionmaking, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. Explore growth opportunities alongside the Operations, Product, Engineering, Business Operations, Sales, Business Development, and Marketing teams to support strategic projects and harness opportunities crucial to the growth of the entire company. Compile inputs from consumers/restaurants/dashers to understand the regional strengths and weaknesses, competitive pressures, and opportunity areas across different products. Run tests and scaling insights to identify and solve a variety of technical issues and to clarify management objectives. Manage complex projects, converting high-level goals into action, and converting insights into scalable processes. Collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, services, and products. Perform complex functions with SQL and Excel to prepare management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions. Telecommuting is permitted. (SMRSO-S-102-NY). 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary Range: $200,000 - $300,000/yr. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Economics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of experience in operations, technology, consulting, strategy, business development, banking, analytics, high-growth or early-stage startup, or related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Economics, or a related field of study and eight (8) years of progressive, post-bachelors experience in operations, technology, consulting, strategy, business development, banking, analytics, high-growth or early-stage startup, or related occupation. Qualifying experience must include four (4) years in at least six (6) of the following skills (which may be gained concurrently); Corporate finance including building financial modelling and financial management; Financial P&L analysis and management; SQL or SIGMA to analyze large data sets; Business or financial data analysis including scenario analysis leveraging tools such as decision trees, Monte-Carlo Simulation, Bloomberg Terminal, or similar; Analytics & Visualization tools such as Looker, Alteryx, Tableau, Chartio or similar; Creating scalable operational business, finance or growth models and building business cases to pursuing new initiatives; Predictive Analysis and Forecasting Modeling; and Valuation.
