Office Housekeeper

Overview

The Office Housekeeper is an integral part of the Office Services team. The primary responsibility for this position is to maintain the neatness and appearance of office space during regular business hours. This individual works to ensure offices, pantry areas and other common spaces are kept in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all Firm space (vacuuming, mopping and dusting of all offices, hallways, corridors and conference rooms).

• Light trash removal.

• Window cleaning.

• Light restroom cleaning (i.e., washdown of sinks, toilets, etc.).

• Clean and maintain pantry areas (wipe down sinks, counters, chairs, tables, microwaves, etc.)

• Clean and prepare offices/workstations for office moves and newly hired staff.

• Clean and maintain the conference and team rooms for meetings and events (supplies, furniture set-up, etc.)

• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must have a general understanding of basic cleaning equipment and chemicals. Must remain knowledgeable in order to safely use and handle all products, required cleaning materials and chemicals.

• Outstanding customer service skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize assignments and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proven ability to work effectively individually and with a team

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
