Senior credit officer

Change Capital Management LLC has an opening for a Seniro Credit Officer in New York, NY. Job Duties: Responsible for providing professional support including coordinating underwriting and credit approval for both prospective and existing clients. Coordinate and/or lead due diligence efforts or funding requests, covering business, industry, financial, and management underwriting. Prepare credit approval request documentation, including the initial risk grading matrix. Recommend credit approval terms, structure, risk rating, and pricing. Guide structure to ensure transactions conform to policy and approval requirements. Collaborate with other team members in negotiating the details of comprehensive loan agreement by the terms of approval. Ensure that all requirements of funding and post-approval due diligence are completed. Evaluate and assess diligence information for prospective and existing clients and summarize and draw conclusions regarding strengths, weaknesses, risks, and mitigants. Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance or related field. Twelve (12) months of experience in job offered, underwriting, or related occupation. Any amount of experience in additional requirements section below will be acceptable unless specific amount is noted. Additional requirements: Prior academic background or work experience must include experience in all of the following: 1) Experience in commercial underwriting, portfolio management, and asset-based lending. 2) Experience with loan products and debt and equity investments. 3) Experience with lending practices, regulations, and risk assessment. 4) Experience reading and interpreting financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and forecasting models. 5) Experience with managing customer relationships, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiations.
