Electrical Project Manager & Estimator - Commercial & Industrial Projects

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects from initial estimating through project completion. This hands-on role blends preconstruction estimating, field coordination, and project management to ensure electrical work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical contracting and is skilled in cost estimation, schedule management, and team coordination. You will serve as the central point of contact between field crews, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and industrial electrical projects from award to completion
• Prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, and proposals for electrical work
• Coordinate field electricians, foremen, subcontractors, and material deliveries
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and change orders to maintain profitability
• Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, and reports
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, and internal teams regarding scope, progress, and timelines
• Ensure projects are executed following safety protocols and industry standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and workflow optimization

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction
• Strong estimating, budgeting, and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
