Desk: Asia FX Trading
Role Overview
We are seeking a Trader to join the Asia FX Desk in New York. The role offers direct exposure to Asia FX markets and requires strong understanding of short‑term interest rate dynamics , as well as the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day trading activities on the Asia FX desk
- Monitor market developments across Asia FX and short‑term rates
- Assist in risk management, position monitoring, and P&L tracking
- Work closely with senior traders to execute strategies and manage franchise relationships
- Contribute to market colour, trade ideas, and desk communication across time zones
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of short‑term interest rates and their impact on FX markets
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience (trading, structuring, or markets‑related role)
- Solid understanding of Asia macro and FX market microstructure
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a real‑time trading environment
