Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer

Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373

Pay Rate: $50 – $55 per hour

Shift: Evening Shift (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM)

Schedule: 5 Days/Week | 8 Hours/Day | 40 Hours/Week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to join a dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic procedures as prescribed by physicians
• Prepare and accurately position patients for imaging examinations
• Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (military training accepted)
• Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license (NYSDOH)
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in English (spoken, written, and reading comprehension)

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification
