Description
Waxer/Stripper-Mount Sinai West
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes, and buffs floors using floor machines. Observes safety rules and practices at all times.
Responsibilities- Prepares cleaning solutions, housekeeping supplies and equipment
- Reports all safety hazards, leaking pipes and faucets, broken furniture and equipment to Supervisor
- Shampoos carpet as requested
- Keeps all equipment clean and in good repair
- Keeps supply closet clean and in order
- Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Collects and removes trash
- Attends training classes
Requirements:
- High School Diploma- or GED

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $23.5741 - $25.6462 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
