Position Purpose
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering a warm, polished, and highly personalized arrival experience for members and guests. As a key ambassador of the club, this role ensures all interactions are handled with professionalism, discretion, and genuine hospitality. The Front Desk Agent supports daily front office operations while maintaining the highest standards of service, organization, and member experience reflective of a luxury private club environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and confidence, creating an exceptional first impression.
- Manage member and guest arrivals, departures, and inquiries with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Maintain a strong understanding of club policies, membership guidelines, and daily operations.
- Coordinate closely with Membership, Food & Beverage, and Operations teams to ensure seamless guest experience throughout the property.
- Handle reservations, guest requests, and special accommodation with care and discretion.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and internal communications in a polished and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate member profiles, notes, and preferences within club systems.
- Assist in monitoring front desk presentation, cleanliness, and organization at all times.
- Resolve member and guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Support additional front office and operational responsibilities as needed to uphold club standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
- Prior experience within luxury hospitality, private clubs, hotels, or refined service environments preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished and professional presence.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate member and guest needs.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed within a fast-paced, high-touch hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency with reservations, guest management, or hospitality systems preferred.
- Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to discretion, hospitality, and operational excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining accountability and professionalism.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Previous front desk, guest relations, concierge, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience within a luxury hotel, private members club, or upscale hospitality environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the property for extended periods.
- Ability to maintain a polished and professional presence throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive administrative and operational tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining attention to detail.
