Child psychotherapist - service - experience

Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Service (SFCS) is seeking a dynamic, fee for service mental health practitioner to deliver in-person psychotherapy services. The ideal candidate will possess the unique skills and techniques required to work effectively with children, ages 5-10 years old, couples, and families.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct individual-child, family, and couple counseling sessions.
• Perform thorough diagnostic, bio-psycho-social and safety assessments.
• Develop treatment goals and objectives.
• Management of case recordings.

Qualifications:

· LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC. LCAT’s are encouraged to apply.

· Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to utilize an electronic medical record.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Ability to work in collaborative work environment.
• Knowledge of family systems theory a plus.

This is a non-exempt, 12-month, in-office position with immediate availability. Weekday afternoon/evenings 3:00-8:00 pm, with opportunity for Saturday mornings. Only NYS licensed professionals will be considered.
