DevOps Engineer
LaunchTech is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a passion for mobile platforms to support the Point-of-Sale Service and related projects. This role is pivotal in designing and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline, optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless delivery of services across Production, QA, and Development environments. The position will support critical infrastructure for a state government customer.
Note: Must be a US Citizen to be considered.Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design and build robust CI/CD pipelines to automate client builds and regression tests, enhancing efficiency and reliability
- Infrastructure Management: Build and maintain stable, efficient infrastructure to support service delivery, continuously improving processes for building, packaging, and deployment
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain infrastructure, proactively addressing issues to ensure optimal performance
- Automation & Security: Implement automated infrastructure capabilities, focusing on backups, security, and monitoring while responding to developer requests efficiently
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years in DevOps Engineering with hands-on expertise in mobile development, particularly using Xcode
- Build Machines: Strong understanding of build machines (e.g., Mac Mini, Android builds) with the ability to create and manage these environments
- Scripting: Proficiency in Bash scripting
- CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Azure Pipelines and Jenkins
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Android (Gradle) is a plus
- Familiarity with Fortify
- Ability to mentor others in Android development
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in team environments
