Job Purpose
Lead and oversee the operational execution of the HR function with a commitment to internal growth and advancement of the company's workforce. Serve as a dynamic, hands-on leader, fostering a high-performance culture, driving talent management, and ensuring compliance with multi-state HR laws.
Essential Functions
- Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Lead HR teams to support manufacturing plants and their teams
- Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and employee engagement
- Talent Management
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs at various locations
- Build and implement succession planning and career development initiatives
- Drive internal growth and advancement opportunities for employees
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with multi-state HR laws and regulations
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
- Manage employee relations and mitigate risks
- Consultation
- Act as a trusted advisor to Directors of Operations on HR matters
- Provide consultative support to managers and employees
- Facilitate organizational change and development initiatives
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee plant HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and HRIS
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making
- Ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery
- Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Experience managing a decentralized team vital
- Experience in a multi-unit manufacturing environment desired
- Proven track record in talent management, succession planning, and talent development
- Strong understanding of multi-state HR compliance and laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Demonstrated success working as a coach and strategic business partner
- Ability to work effectively in a dispersed team environment
- Strong consultative and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to roll up sleeves and get involved in day-to-day HR operations

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $126,000 to $180,000 annually. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your annual salary, Rise Baking Company offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, annual bonus eligibility, incentive and recognition programs and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
