Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1200 - $1230

Key Job Details – Anesthesia Tech Travel Contract

• Job Title: Anesthesia Technician (Hospital Setting)
• Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 17 weeks (September 29, 2025 – January 24, 2026)
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, each shift is 10 hours (Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 4:30pm EST)
• Shift: 10-hour days, 40 hours/week
• On-call, holidays, weekends: As needed
• Employment Type: Travel Contract

Anesthesia Technician Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Anesthesia Tech in a hospital setting
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Associate's degree with technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists or other nationally recognized certifying body preferred
• Strong communication, clinical support, and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care during anesthesia, including preparation and set-up of anesthesia equipment and supplies
• Operate and maintain anesthesia machines, cell-saver devices, and advanced patient monitoring systems
• Support clinicians during complex intubations and central line placements
• Participate in advanced surgical cases: cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic, and trauma procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of anesthesia equipment
• Assist with training and in-service education for anesthesia technologists and support staff
• Set up operating rooms and anesthesia carts between cases; provide end-of-day full-service set-up
• Provide backup support to shift supervisor as needed
