Product Manager, VP - Fund Finance Technology

We are seeking an experienced Fund Finance Tech Product Manager (VP) with deep expertise in financial services technology and enterprise-scale transformation projects. This role will lead the delivery of strategic initiatives, including the build-out of a proprietary oversight and process automation platform and the onboarding of a new financial general ledger. The ideal candidate will combine strong product management skills, Agile delivery expertise, and work closely with developers and finance stakeholders to push products forward from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic delivery of enterprise-scale finance technology initiatives, including the build-out of a proprietary oversight and process automation platform and the onboarding of a new financial general ledger.
- Apply Agile project management methodologies to plan, track, and deliver high-impact technology solutions, ensuring iterative progress and stakeholder alignment.
- Utilize JIRA and Confluence to manage project workflows, maintain documentation, and provide transparency across cross-functional teams.
- Write, refine, and review user stories and acceptance criteria to translate business requirements into actionable tasks for development teams, ensuring clarity and technical feasibility.
- Oversee project governance, including resource allocation, milestone management, and risk mitigation, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Drive process automation and workflow optimization to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting timeliness across finance systems.
- Assist in strategic decision-making for technology investments, vendor selection, and architectural design to support long-term scalability and integration.
- Champion data governance, security, and compliance best practices, embedding controls to meet internal audit and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate change management and user adoption strategies, including training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement for new systems and processes.
- Mentor junior project managers and analysts, fostering a high-performance environment within the finance technology delivery team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in financial services technology or corporate finance systems, with a proven track record delivering enterprise-scale transformation projects.
- Demonstrated success as a Product Manager leading complex finance technology initiatives, including enterprise-level technology.
- Deep expertise in Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), with hands-on experience managing sprints, backlogs, and iterative delivery cycles.
- Proficient in JIRA and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.
- Skilled in writing, refining, and reviewing user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications to ensure successful execution by development teams.
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and finance systems integration, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and reporting platforms.
- Excellent communication skills; effectively translates complex technical concepts into clear business language for senior stakeholders.
- Proven skills managing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships in high-stakes, regulated environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effectively anticipates and mitigates risks proactively.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.

Expected annual base salary range:
$147,000 - $225,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone's sole discretion.
