Registered Dental Hygienist

A private GP, fee-for-service practice is seeking a full-time or part-time Registered Dental Hygienist. We are open five days a week: Monday–Thursday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM–1:00 PM. Hygiene appointments are scheduled for 1 hour for recare and 1.5 hours for new patients. We are a growing practice with long-term plans for both full-time and part-time hygiene positions.

The right candidate is an RDH who cares as much about comprehensive patient care as they do about their career. They will have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for their role in patient care as well as their role as a provider in the office. Outstanding time management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential.

We are looking for someone who goes above and beyond to build patient relationships, deliver quality treatment, and provide an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment with our dentists and team members in all areas of the practice.

Applicants must be comfortable explaining periodontal disease, taking x-rays, performing thorough oral cancer exams, reviewing medical histories, and educating patients on oral-systemic links and related risk factors. Confidence in recommending fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive services is required.
