Personal Injury Paralegal (Plaintiff Side)

About Our Client

Our client, a well-respected personal injury firm, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their team in Westbury, NY. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment supporting attorneys on meaningful plaintiff-side cases from intake through settlement or trial.

What You Will Do

• Draft, review, and file complaints, discovery, subpoenas, motions, and settlement documents.
• Manage case files and maintain organized, accurate documentation.
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, IMEs, and court appearances.
• Request, review, and summarize medical records and billing.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather information.
• Track case deadlines and ensure all filings are completed on time.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and materials for hearings and trials.
• Assist with lien resolutions and settlement negotiations.

Experience Needed

• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury (plaintiff-side) firm.
• Strong understanding of personal injury litigation and court procedures.
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.
