Lead Product Manager, Payments
FanDuel is seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of Payments capabilities supporting our new Predictions market portfolio. In this role, you will lead initiatives across our payment journey -from deposits, withdrawals and wallet experiences to ongoing product enhancements.
As a key contributor, you will work closely with Engineering, Commercial, Operations, Data, Finance and Compliance and Legal teams to build a customer-first, compliant, and resilient payment solution that scales. - Product Strategy and Vision : Partner with the Director of Payments Product, define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap for Payments - balancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory/compliance requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to create roadmaps, prioritize features, and address user needs using insights from customer research, competitive trends, and business context.
- Payments Experience: Lead the end-to-end payments experiences including funding, wallet, withdrawals/payouts, and overall flows for the Predictions market portfolio. Partner with third-party payment partners and internal engineering teams to increase authorization rates, reliability, and cost efficiency while maintaining strong controls.
- Industry and Product Expertise : Demonstrate deep knowledge of product features, user journeys, and industry trends. Stay informed on market shifts, competitors, and emerging technologies to refine the product roadmap.
- Futures/Prediction Markets Payments: Design payments capabilities tailored to futures/prediction market mechanics and ensure the controls, disclosures, and auditability needed for regulated environments.
- Metrics and Strategic Oversight: Establish, track, and communicate success metrics (e.g., deposit success, auth rate etc.) Use a data driven approach to prioritize work and drive measurable impact.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Lead complex initiatives end-to-end-from discovery and business case through delivery and iteration. Align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk/Fraud, and Operations; remove blockers and drive decisions.
- Experimentation and Iteration: Champion a test-and-learn approach: concept validation, A/B tests, pilots, and phased rollouts.
- Product Quality and Delivery: Partner with engineering to ensure clear requirements, strong acceptance criteria, and high-quality launches. Manage dependencies, triage issues, and act as an escalation point to keep delivery on track.
- Stakeholder Management and Influence: Deliver concise, action-oriented communication and confidently present to senior leadership and cross-functional partners to secure buy-in, align priorities, and drive outcomes.

What we're looking for in our next teammate
- 7 years + payments product or product management experience
- Passion for sports betting and sports-adjacent products
- Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
- Comfort crafting business cases, prioritizing tradeoffs, and communicating clearly with executive stakeholders.
- Experience building products in heavily regulated environments and working closely with Legal/Compliance
- Technical fluency: ability to collaborate deeply with engineering on APIs, payment flows, risk systems, experience with 3rd-party integrations is a plus.
- Bonus: experience with prediction/futures market mechanics or cryptocurrency/digital asset products

The applicable salary range for this position is $129,000 - $171,100 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
