Psychiatrist: inpatient, Part-Time, Brooklyn (New York)

NewYork-Presbyterian/BrooklynMethodist Hospital is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Part-time (0.65 FTE) in-patient Psychiatrist . Both new graduates and experienced psychiatrists are encouraged to apply.

The Inpatient Staff Psychiatrist willbe an integral member of the multidisciplinary clinical team providing high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric treatments to patients. The inpatient service provides comprehensive assessments and individually tailored treatment plans for individuals with a wide range of mental illnesses from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. The psychiatrist will collaborate with unit-based nurses, social workers, pharmacists, psychologists, primary care physicians assistants, and primary case hospitalists. The inpatient staff psychiatrist will contribute to inpatient case conferences and departmental initiatives under the supervision of the Service Chief of Psychiatry.

The salary range for this 0.65 FTE position is $195-$214k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.

The selected candidate will be eligible for academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidates experience and credentials.
